To our family of patients,

Our team is delighted to be available to each of you as we resume operations. Due to ongoing COVID-19 concerns, we are committed to ensuring a safe environment for our staff and patients while providing dental care following CDC and ADA guidelines and recommendations. You will encounter a “new normal” at your next appointment:

If you have not already filled out the emailed screening questionnaire and updated medical history online prior to your appointment, we will ask you to do so upon arrival. You will then have your temperature taken and wash your hands. We kindly ask that you come to your appointment wearing a face covering. During your appointment, our clinical team continues to follow universal precautions, which include the use of N95 masks, disposable gowns, face shields, and hair coverings.

Please limit any personal belongings to what can be held in your lap or kept in your pockets (please refrain from bringing any large bags or purses), and consider bringing an extra layer of clothing if you think you may get cold during your appointment. We ask that patients do not handle their personal electronic devices once in our office to prevent cross-contamination.

Upon arriving in our office, if our waiting room is at capacity for safe social distancing, we will request that you wait outside our office and will call you when ready.

Please only bring someone with you if necessary (driver, guardian, etc.); please be advised that we will ask that person to wait outside our office during the appointment. If your child has an appointment, you can bring them to our office door, and we will call you when their appointment is complete.

Please be advised cleaning appointments will have extended time added, approximately 15-30 minutes as our hygienists will be utilizing hand instrumentation to prevent the creation of aerosols due to ADA and CDC guidelines.

Please understand that as government guidelines could change, we may need to adjust appointment times accordingly and will contact any patients in the event of this.

If you are not comfortable with any of these protocols, please call and we will reschedule your appointment to a future date. We encourage you to remain diligent in your home care in the meantime.

Please call us at 404-233-1102 if you have any questions or concerns. We appreciate your trust in our care and we look forward to seeing you at your next appointment!

Warmly,

Dr. Jackson, Dr. Cann, Dr. Giordano, Tricia, Nancy, Reem, Victoria, Brittany, Ana, and Candice
