Your First Patient Visit

New Patients are warmly welcomed at Atlanta Dental Wellness. Whether you are experiencing tooth pain, desiring a focused exam to discuss your dental health, or just “due for a check-up”, we are here to help.

The New Patient exam is a relaxed and enjoyable opportunity to share information and become acquainted. Let us know your interests, and share your vision for your smile or your concerns. Digital dental films are taken to gain an accurate record of your dental health. For your safety, our office utilizes the newest technology employing digital radiography which has virtually eliminated past concerns about traditional radiation exposure.

If treatment is indicated, we’ll discuss the best solutions for your needs, and our administrative staff will answer any questions about appointments, fees, insurance reimbursement, and payment arrangements. We offer low monthly payment plans through an outside billing service that many of our patients find very helpful when investing in their dental care. Send your request to care@atldentalwellness.com. Whether you desire a new patient visit or other dental procedure, each appointment time is individually reserved for the patient. Our office carefully determines the necessary time for each type of appointment and arranges the schedule with care to provide an unhurried and well-organized time to care for you. Should a circumstance prevail where you need to change an appointment, please provide two days’ notice so that your reservation may be given to another patient.

A credit card is required to reserve a New Patient appointment. If the appointment is canceled within 24 hours or is a no-show, a fee of $75 will be charged and must be paid before the appointment can be rescheduled.

As many of our patients are sensitive to fragrances, we ask that you please refrain from wearing scented products in our office.

No Show/Cancellation Policy

A “No-Show” is someone who misses an appointment without canceling 24 hours in advance or arrives more than 10 minutes late on the day of their appointment and therefore cannot be seen. No-Shows will be billed $75 and must pay the no-show fee before their appointment can be rescheduled.

A cancellation fee of $75 will be charged for any appointment canceled within 24 hours.

I-285/GA 400 construction update

Please be aware when planning for your appointment. The ongoing lane closures due to the Georgia Transform 285/400 improvement project lane often create substantial delays on I-285 and GA 400. GDOT urges motorists to find alternative routes or travel at off-peak times. If they must use the interchange, GDOT advises motorists to give themselves an extra half-hour to get where they’re going.
