Your First Visit at Atlanta Dental Wellness

A Conversation Before a Recommendation

Your first visit starts with listening. We review your health history, concerns, sensitivities, and goals before any recommendation. Then we complete an exam and any needed imaging, explain what we find, and give you a clear plan with options. There is no pressure to decide that day.

Before Your Visit

  • Tell us about any sensitivities when you book, so we can prepare your room.

  • Complete your health history, including medications, supplements, and past reactions to materials.

  • Bring recent dental X-rays, lab results, or physician notes you want us to see.

  • Write down your questions.

What Happens at Your First Visit

  1. Welcome. Our office is fragrance-free, and we can prepare your room in advance if you have sensitivities.

  2. Health-history conversation. We talk through your concerns, health history, and what you want from your care.

  3. Examination. We check your teeth, gums, bite, existing dental work, and soft tissues.

  4. Imaging as needed. We take digital X-rays based on your needs, not a fixed schedule.

  5. Findings and options. We explain what we see, what is urgent, what can wait, and what is optional.

  6. Your plan. You receive a written plan and estimate, and time to decide.
